About me

Joshua López is a Puerto Rican-American filmmaker and mutlimedia artist whose work explores themes of cultural identity, resilience, and memory through experimental storytelling and hybrid animation. A graduate student from William Paterson University, he fuses 3D animation, traditional techniques, and installation to create immersive, emotionally resonant experiences. His recent short Viaje is a poetic journey of healing in the wake of Hurricane Maria premiered to critical acclaim and community celebration. Through his art he aims to honor his roots while pushing the boundaries of independent cinema.
